We're almost at the finish line. Our second short film 'LEAVE', inspired by the true story of co-director Corban Lundborg, is shaping up. After looking at everything we had from our days of principal photography we felt that we needed more scenes to successfully visually explore where our protagonist comes from and where he's headed. So, we decided to book one last day of shooting with our lead actor. We location scouted for our city shots and found a great spot in North Hollywood. We went for a hike in the valley of LA for our ruck march shots, not really sure if we'd find what we're looking for (thank goodness we did), and we used the abandoned part of North Hollywood that we scouted a few days prior to film our city shots later in the evening. All in all, we were able to get all the shots that we needed on our re-shoot day. Indie filmmaking is becoming more and more of an interesting and joyous experience as we continue to learn what it really takes to tell a story. We look forward to the day we can present a trailer to you all! Pictures from our re-shoot day above. We'll keep you posted! CALM Collectivewww.calm-collective.com
