The CALM Co. team has returned from South Africa after Corban and Anele's traditional Xhosa wedding, hosted at Lombardini Lodge in Jeffrey's Bay, SA. The couple legally married in 2018 but due to an Air Force deployment, immigration and a pandemic, they had to postpone the ceremony. While living in South Africa for an extended time, CALM's director of photography, Corban, captured some of the nations wonders. Below is a small portfolio of images produced by CALM.

When CALM artist Anele Lundborg booked her first video game role she never imagined that it would be for PlayStation and for one of their best selling games of all time, 'Horizon Forbidden West'. We are beyond thrilled to share the news of the game's release in which Anele plays the character of 'Bulma' (who prefers to be called Boomer). Boomer is on the autism spectrum; she's well-meaning, energetic, utterly brilliant, but odd by most conventional standards. Just about everyone in her life struggles to relate to her, and cannot fathom Bulma’s fascination with chemistry, and the more exciting of chemical reactions – explosives. Aloy (the game's hero) takes a shine to her precisely because she seems disinterested in Aloy – a refreshing change, given recent events (in the game).
Artists Corban and Anele Lundborg team up in this video to share their art through multimedia. The spoken word was written and preformed by Anele while Corban painted a bomber jacket inspired by the words. The bomber jacket is part of a larger collection Corban began in 2021 inspired by WWII aviators.
CALM's creative director, Corban Lundborg, was commissioned by Western Carolina University to create a mural of the Smoky Mountains using recycled materials. The artwork is featured in the entrance of their brand new University Center. Corban's art is a representation of the mountain-scape that surrounds the university.
The artwork was created at Corban's home studio in Atlanta, Georgia and then transported up to North Carolina by trailer. He used recycled pallet wood to create the sky, plywood and OSB for the mountains and accented with scrap metal. A re-used sign was mounted in the corner to lead students into the UC. Corban's brother Ian Lundborg, a wood-worker based in Duluth, Minnesota flew down to help with the final installation.

Global streaming giant Netflix has partnered with the Realness Institute to create an Episodic Content Development Lab for writers in South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.
Six applicants were selected from just over 500 applications for the development lab. Anele Lundborg, together with her brother Andile Ngcizela, partnered as a writing team for their application and today the Realness Institute made their official reveal of all six of the selected candidates.
Corban serves as our creative director at CALM Collective and the creativity doesn't end on screen. Before moving into cinematography and art direction, Corban's art career began with a spray can. He was recently commissioned to paint Team RWB's Firebase in Midtown, Atalanta. CALM Produced the process video, sharing insight to the inspiration behind the walls.
