Hi, I’m Anele, I’m really honored and excited at your interest in having me possibly join along your creative journey. I start every tier of our actor services with a virtual consultation. I do this because I want you to feel confident about choosing our services, and because I also want to know who I will be working with before they walk into the room/studio. Please understand that I’m not an acting coach, I am a creative director and a writer, although I have SAG-AFTRA membership for my acting and I have worked on various studio projects, what I primarily do in my services for actors is prepare the actor for the business of acting. However, my knowledge in the performance of acting does come in handy a lot during this process, I'm also happy to recommend a few acting coaches if you'd like. I fiercely respect my time, and because of that I also respect other people’s time too, including my team’s and yours; I hope that if we work together on your material, you will return the favor. Remember to choose the package that you’re most comfortable with, any of these packages will be a great investment, and trust me, you’ll fully get what you fully pay for. THE BOOKING PROCESS: Check out our Service Packages below which include headshots and scenes for reels. Once you have seen one that you like come back to this page and click 'BOOK NOW' below to book your consultation date and pay for your deposit.
Once Anele accepts the consultation date that you booked below, you will immediately be notified and your deposit payment will automatically be processed.

ACTOR SERVICES POLICY
Payments

We use square for all payments. A deposit is required for all bookings. You are welcome to pay the balance for your package/tier immediately after your consultation date is accepted. If you choose to pay later please note that any outstanding balances are due on the day of your first session as scheduled according to your selected tier.

Accepted Cards
Square works with any US-issued and most internationally-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, or UnionPay logo. Square also supports mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Bookings & Cancellations
Our Foundation and Development packages each have tiers. The booking and cancellation policy for each tier is outlined below. 

Headshots Tier:
  • After you request to book a date for your headshot session, we will then confirm with you by accepting your booked date & your non-refundable deposit. After your deposit is paid, ONLY THEN is your date secured. (If the requested date doesn’t work, we will send other available dates and help you secure your booking).
  • We will hold your date for 72 hours while waiting for your deposit payment to process. If your doesn't process within 72 hours after we’ve accepted your booked date, we will cancel the booking and release the date.
  • If you need to reschedule your booked date after you’ve already paid your deposit, we will transfer your deposit to your new date only if you let us know 5 working days or more before your original booked date; if you fail to notify us in time, your deposit will be forfeited. Only 1 reschedule is permitted per booking. If you cancel your second booked date for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited. If you are a NO SHOW on the booked date of your headshot session, your deposit will be forfeited.

Combination & Starter Tiers
  • After you request a consultation date for your selected tier, we will then confirm with you by accepting your booked date & your non-refundable deposit. After your deposit is paid, ONLY THEN is your date secured. (If the requested date doesn’t work, we will send other available dates and help you secure your booking).
  • We will hold your date for 72 hours while waiting for your deposit payment to process. If your doesn't process within 72 hours after we’ve accepted your booked date, we will cancel the booking and release the date.

Please Note: Consultations are the first step to the process for these tiers, they are important to move things along, including working out a schedule for the work involved for your headshot and/or scene sessions. Anele shapes her work schedule around her artist development consultations, so this is a necessary step.

Intensive & CALM Intensive Tiers
  • Because of the level of dedication and amount of time invested into the process for Intensive & CALM Intensive Tiers respectively, these tiers are subject to an application process. After you request a consultation date for your selected tier, we will then confirm with you via email by sending you all necessary information about your selected tier, and an application form for you to fill in and send back to us. Your application may be accepted or denied depending on Anele’s schedule and whether she thinks this is the right tier for you, she may recommend another tier. We don't want you to spend money on a tier that may not be fit for you, we want the best for you. If your application is accepted, we will then confirm with you by accepting your booked date & your non-refundable deposit. After your deposit is paid, ONLY THEN is your date secured. (If the requested date doesn’t work, we will send other available dates and help you secure your booking).

ALL TIERS
Please make sure that you pay your deposit with careful consideration, once a deposit has been forfeited there are no other arrangements that can be made. However, we understand that life can be tricky sometimes, so if any re-booking arrangement is made after a deposit qualifies to be forfeited, please note that it is out of the generosity of our team, it is not a requirement or a guarantee that you’ll get another booking/consultation date, in other words, please be kind and patient.

Please consider your consultation/booking as a booked job and take the necessary precautions that will enable you to follow through. Anele and her team appreciate your consideration!

Reshoots/Refunds
Anele has the full creative direction of all shoots and final edits. We do not offer reshoots, revisions or refunds other than for technical failures or malfunctions. That being said, please know that your voice matters here, this is all about helping you achieve successful results as much as is in our ability to do so, and it is therefore your responsibility to clearly communicate what your goals and wishes are as we go through each tier’s process. If you have any concerns please communicate clearly & kindly with Anele and/or our studio team, in advance of and/or during all shoots. If you have any concerns during the session or you don't like the way your makeup is being styled, please speak up so that the studio team can accommodate your needs.

Talent Release Forms
On the day of shoots actors must sign a talent release form in order for Calm Collective LLC to freely use final retouched headshots and edited scenes on our website and social media.
